This full-bodied red from Warburn is a blend of shiraz and lagrein, which gives the wine a velvety palate, with firm tannins. The bouquet displays aromas of dark chocolate, and plums, with undertones of liquorice, violets, spice, and a grassy, earthy herbaceousness, while the palate has more of those plum flavours, along with some bitter cherries, perfectly balanced by soft, silky supple tannins, with just a hint of tobacco.
