Dark berry fruit aromas, sweet plum and spicy flavours, silky tannins and a rich, velvety smooth palate.
Harvested from selected parcels of McLaren Vale Shiraz with each parcel matured separately in old French oak hogsheads. Blended prior to bottling, the final blend is a mixture of older vintages to ensure consistency in style, complexity & palate weight plus some younger vintage shiraz to add lushness, juiciness & freshness to the palate. Traditional fermentation in the bottle. Aged on lees for 24 months prior to disgorgement. Disgorged & given a careful dosage of an aged and blended Australian fortified Shiraz to ensure a savoury style with perfect balance.
